Received an Error Message: R1153 Combiner Panel

Typical Causation:

This error occurs when a combiner box has not been identified in the busbar section of the electrical page when more than one string of microinverters is stated. As a result, error R1153 is triggered. To resolve this issue, add a combiner panel in the busbar section of the application by following the steps below.

In the example below, the IQ Combiner 6C needs to be added as a combiner panel for the new PV system.

Solution:

1. Add an additional busbar which will be considered a new combiner panel. Busbar #1 will be the main service panel and busbar #2 will be the new combiner panel.

2. Under the new busbar dropdowns select what is shown below to detail the busbar as a combiner panel and not a subpanel.

3. Continue to fill out the remaining inputs for the combiner panel for the desired project and the error will be cleared.
